Here's a few pics from Harlie Jo's 3rd birthday.
This is the only one from her actual birth day. And you may not be able to tell in the picture, but she actually is holding up 3 fingers (just a little crookedly). On that day, we gave her a present (CandyLand plus some actual candy) and were just nice to her. I kinda can't remember what else we did. (Darn it, that's why I shouldn't wait so long to post about things...)
The Sunday after her birthday, we just invited local family over (which means the Chattertons and Greg and Ilene) and Elizabeth and Chad (who are basically family) for cake and ice cream.
And here's the cake I made for her. It may not be much to look at, but it was pretty delicious, if I do say so myself. It was an ice cream cake with a layer in the middle of crunched up oreos and fudge sauce. Half of the cake was peanut butter panic and the other half was birthday cake flavored ice cream. It was lovely.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We also had dinner that day. That may not sound that interesting but it turned out SO GOOD. I just had BBQ chicken in the crock pot with yummy rolls to make sandwiches. And everyone else chipped in and brought sides and stuff. We had watermelon, salad, chips, and cookie salad. Anyway, it was really yummy.
And it was fun to have friends and family over to help celebrate that cute little girl's birth!
