River is Half a Year Old!

Happy half-birthday little guy!

River loves being tickled on his tummy.
He used to have a clogged tear duct on his left eye but it finally went away just before he turned 6 months. Yay for no more goopy eyes!
He started solid foods (the day before this picture was taken, but it has now been over 2 weeks) and he's been doing really well. He's such an easy guy to please. Unlike my sweet girls when they were babies (he's been my easiest and most laid-back baby so far). So far he has tried and likes: sweet potatoes, pears, carrots, green beans, oatmeal, bananas, and fruit medleys (we had to buy 2nd stage baby food bc they were all out of first stage, or else he wouldn't have probably tried medleys yet). He does not like peas so far.
And he sits up like a tri-pod and doesn't hate that too bad, but if you're not holding him up, he hates trying to be sat up. But he can, he's just specific.

It's been a good 6 months! I've been doing well adjusting to having 3 kids and I feel like we are totally in a routine. I'm even feeling like I should probably start exercising again soon. Maybe... Anyway, life is pretty good. And sometimes less good, but overall, things are good!

Happy 6 months, River Bottom!
