So let me just start out by saying, Hello Again! I've taken a TINY little 3 year break from blogging... oops. I couldn't decide if I thought it was something I ever wanted to take back up again but I have come to a conclusion. I do want to start blogging again. But I don't really care if people read or not, I am mostly going to do it for my own journaling purposes. I already keep an actual hard copy journal and I even make a photo book for every year of our marriage so I still feel like things are pretty well documented. But what I'm missing is stories WITH pictures. My journal is just words and my photo books are just photos (with some headings). Plus they are both hard copies. So in case anything ever happens to those, it will be nice to have a blog floating around in internet-land for my future posterity to browse through (since they will assuredly be even more technologically savvy than I am).
And since I have missed 3 years, which is kind of an enormous amount of time to catch up on, today I am just going to start out with what's going on right now. I am planning to post every Sunday and I may or may not decide to add flashback posts once in a while, but I reserve the right to also not do that if I want. So, here we go.
I just got this adorable little impromptu picture of my kids having tummy time together on our stairs landing. I didn't realize I would think it's so cute, but I do. It catches them how really look most of the time. They aren't dressed special or clean-faced or hair-did, but the natural feel gives it even more charm.
And this is a picture of Elizabeth and me in Utah for one of the last times while she still lived here. She moved to Arizona like a week after this was taken, I think. Plus we have matching topknots, which was totally unplanned and super awesome.
