The Scoop
So as you all may or may not know, I've been having trouble lately getting Kailyn to sleep somewhere else besides in my own bed. But for a full week now, this little girl has been sleeping in her crib in her own room every night and for every nap. How did I do it? I read some books, talked to some moms, asked my pediatrician, and took ideas I liked from all those places. Basically, I separated her feeding time from her nap time (so now she has wake time in between) and once she started getting fussy, I would know that usually meant she was tired. Then I'd swaddle and rock her till she was asleep for a few short minutes and then I'd put her in her crib. And at night, we just skip the wake time and we just nurse and sleep. Aside from the having to physically get up to feed her, we are ALL a lot happier now. Hallelujah!
Also, a little over a month ago, Garrett gave Kailyn a Baby Blessing. He did great, she was adorable, and we had a wonderful turnout for the after party.

Congrats on a happy and content family! I LOVE the 'new' grown-up mommy look!!
Yay that she's in her own bed, good job mom! And I love your hair, it's so cute!
I like the hair! Very cute! I'm happy she is sleeping in here room. She is so adorable by the way!
It's a great look for you! You look like a very chik young mom :). Hooray for more sleep and more happiness to go around the family!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the haircut. I'm so excited you figured out a sleeping arrangement! I need to work on that for myself. It usually takes a couple of weeks for Taylor to get back on a normal schedule and we've been so messed up since moving and having a flood.
I still LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair!
Your hair is SO CUTE!
Congratulations at getting Kailyn to sleep in her crib!
