(Above) This is Kailyn listening to her daddy's headphones. She was dancing to the soundtrack of High School Musical. I think she looks so cute since the headphones are so gigantic compared to her head.
Here she is relaxing in the La-Z-Boy playing on the cell phone. This is like a peek into her teenage future. "What, Mom, I'm just texting, like you even know what that is..."
This is one of my favorites. Kailyn loves to put her head on the floor and peek through her legs. I love that she is so small and can do that so easily because that's a little bit harder for me at this age...
I know I just posted recently but I have another update. Since this is Garrett's last semester, he has been on the hunt for jobs. Let me tell you a few details, just for fun. He had to do two internships for his major and he has completed both of them. But because he was hoping to get hired with the LDS Church, he took an internship with them also this semester. He has been loving it there. He loves the atmosphere and he is getting more and more responsibilities so he's learning all the time that he has chosen the right major for him. The only drawback about the Church is that they have been known to take quite a while to hire people. He is cleared to intern with them for a full year, so if they don't hire him right away, and nobody else does either, we're liking the idea that he can work there until someone does hire him as a Facility Manager. So that's one of his top 3 choices for companies he'd like to work for. Another one, called Sudexo (sp?), is coming to BYU in February to do interviews, for which Garrett is already signed up. So for them, we'll have a better idea of what to expect after they come and interview him. The third one, and I'm not telling his top 3 in any order either, is called UGL Services, AKA Unicco. They came to BYU this past Wednesday and held an information session for everyone interested, where they also set up interviews after. Garrett brought Kailyn and me. That was really good. I think having us there helped the Unicco employees recognize and remember him. And also he did well at networking with them and impressing them during his interview the next day. If he gets hired with them, it's possible that we'll be moving to the Washington DC area but we won't find out anything for a while. We'll hear from them in about a month, so around the end of February we'll find out if they want a second interview with him and we'll go from there. Until then, we are feeling good about them. And like I said, we still have other good options also so hopefully something works out. Sooner would be better than later just so we can start planning, but either way, it's a pretty exciting time.
Go Garrett.

I love your blog and getting the update. Sometimes I know more from your blog than anywhere else, so thanks for sharing with me. It is easier to just say it once to a lot of people than a million times to individuals. I love you guys and you have one cute family.
That first picture is so cute! We have very few pictures of our whole family so good job in getting one!
It's great that Kailyn is signing! Alex knows a few signs but I think I overloaded him because of my constant signing. He mostly only signs FOOD, HUNGRY, MORE, and BED. You know, the necessities. :)
