I like to call it Movement, not Working Out
I will not be posting a picture of this but recently I have started exercising again! BYU has a fitness pass that you can buy each semester and attend any/all of the classes that they offer. They have yoga, cardio, water aerobics, Zumba, kickboxing, and more. I bought the pass last Fall and loved it so I decided to do it again. I just went to my first class yesterday and my favorite instructor was teaching so that was a fun way to start the semester. Anyway, I also started running. And boy do I have a long way to go to get into even decent shape! I ran 2 miles and it took 30 minutes! That's not great. But it's cool, I am on the right track. I want to have healthier "movement" habits so that I don't get upset when I look at my body. I don't think I have terrible body image issues; it's just that whenever I don't exercise, I never know if I'm getting fatter or skinnier so when I see a little extra chunk, I just assume it's only getting bigger and bigger. But when I actually exercise, I automatically like my body better, even though it doesn't change after 1-2 sessions. It just helps me feel like at least I'm not being lazy. And my goal is to exercise at least 3 times a week. This week I'm feeling really pumped and I keep wanting to work out more, but I don't want to burn myself out this early in the game. Since I'm going for long-term changes I feel like thrice a week is a good goal for now. Hehe, who says thrice. I do. So anyway, that's where I am. I'm on the road to healthier movement habits. Wish me luck!

You go girl, I am so proud of you!!!!
Good for you! I go running in Provo in the mornings if you ever want to come you are more than welcome!!!
Way to be Kasey! Do you like running? Let's do a 5k next spring (assuming I ever recover!) I know what you mean about feeling good about your body...it just makes me feel so much more confident to know that I am working out. It feels really weird to write that considering my current cituation...but hopefully I will get working out again soon here in a few months.
I know what you mean about the way you feel when you exercise! I love that you write the way you talk, it's like I can hear you telling me what you wrote.
Wow, I would be impressed if you ran a 5K. Not that you can't or it's such a big deal for you particularly, but I am impressed with anyone who can. I can't. I bought a new "game" for my Wii that is Jillian Michaels "Fitness Ultimatum 2010" (on clearance of course.) I did it today and she made me set goals, so I also will be "moving" 3X a week with her and walking and doing not-so-tough workouts on the other days. I am also excited. I have a "Hotness check" at Christmas and a date to "Girl Party" at Pleasure Island next May. I hope I can pull it off.
