Kailyn's Room Decorations

Here are some things that my wonderful relatives made for Kailyn's room. Her room looked sort of strange because we didn't have very many kid decorations and we do keep a lot of storage in there. But now, thanks to many different folks, we have a lot of really cute, fun things for Kailyn to appreciate (mostly when she's a little older). This was made by Michele, my sister-in-law. We didn't tell anyone her name until she was born so once we told her, she hurried and made this cute little block thing before she came to visit. It's now sitting on Kailyn's dresser next to her stuffed animals.

This was made my Sage, my 3 year-old nephew, and my sister Sunni. Okay so we did originally have a name planned for Kailyn, that started with a 'K' (which I had told Sunni very early on before we decided not to tell people the name) and then we changed it at the last minute. But if we had changed it something without a 'K', I'm pretty sure Sunni would have given it to me. This is hanging on Kailyn's bedroom door.

This birdhouse was made by Lillianna, my 6 year-old niece and I think Sunni helped. It was Lilli's idea to make this and I think it turned out great. This is sitting on top of a picture frame that will shortly have Kailyn's picture in it. You see this right when you walk in her room.

This is a mobile that Sunni made. You can't tell from this picture how cool it is, but it is really cool. She was very creative in finding things to use to make this, but basically, it's very intricately designed and detailed and I love it. Sunni is the bomb.

These next couple pictures are all hanging near the mobile above Kailyn's crib. They all have nice quotes and are decorated really cute. This one is two-sided so I can turn it around it's just as cute, only different. Again, this was made by Sunni. So cute.

This one is also two-sided but again, you can only see one side at a time and this is the one that shows right now so that's what I took a picture of.

Here is a picture frame that Sunni made. Some buttons fell off and I can't figure out where they would have gone. Anyway, this has a flower on the inside because I told her that usually when people give me a picture frame, it sits around for a while looking blank because I rarely print pictures out. So she decorated it so that until I put someone's picture inside, it can still be cute.

Oh yeah, there's another picture frame that's really cute that I forgot to take a picture of. It's on top of the book shelf so since it's not eye-level, I forget to look up there sometimes. It's brown and pink too so it matches all the other stuff and her bedding and also has something on the inside so it's not empty till I print a picture to go in it. Also she decorated little boxes that I did take a picture of, I just forgot to post it and now I'm too lazy. But they are decorated with scrapbook paper mostly and one is lined with pink silky fabric. I keep her bows and barettes in one and her hats and bibs in the other.

In conclusion, people are so creative and sweet. Namely, Michele, Sage, Lilli, and Sunni. I'm lucky to have such cute people in my life. You should leave a comment on how impressive everything is. They wouldn't fish for compliments but I totally will on their behalf ;)
