For the Fourth of July, Garrett and I tried to incorporate into our day some "Freedom Chats". This is when we chatted about freedom as you may have guessed. We love living in a land with so much freedom. We are grateful to our Father in Heaven who has blessed us with such a great land to live in. We are also very grateful to our Founding Fathers for creating a government that governs as little as possible and allows us all the freedom we can handle (without letting us kill each other). We are also grateful for all the veterans and troops who have fought to protect our country and our freedom. We are very lucky to be living here in America. I do hope that the government doesn't get so corrupt that all of that fighting turns out to be for nothing, but until then, we will remember our gratitude and not so much our criticism. We love FREEDOM!!!
Using our freedom of choice, Garrett and I ate out at the Cheesecake Factory yesterday for the first time. That place is fancy. Neither of us had been there before and we were very impressed with how high class it felt, especially because we didn't expect it to be so nice. We also chose to watch "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen." Actually, mostly Garrett chose that activity. Then I chose for us to go to the Gelato Spot, where I had also never been before and we chose delicious flavors of gelato to consume. That was a very fun part of the day. I got Brownie Fudge Caramel and Hazelnut flavors while Gee went with Cheesecake and Cookies n Cream. Very tasty. We also utilized our freedom to swim at the swimming pool and make Tin Foil Dinners for our indoors picnic with Martinelli's and cheap wine glasses. Overall, we had a very nice day full of choices that we were glad to be making.
We love this land!

This sounds like SUCH a fun day! I'm glad you were able to have the freedom to have such a great day! Your first time at Cheesecake Factory? I'm surprised you have never been with my family! It is DEF one of my all time favorite restaurants! Did you love it? What did you eat? Did you get desert? What I like about eating there is that you can have All-American food, or Mexican food, or Italian food, or Chinese food... they have every kind of food it seems and its all really yummy! Plus, though its not cheap it isn't nearly as expensive I think as other fancyish restaurants can be. I miss you! Call me soon! And say hi to baby for me :) and your hubster!
I love the Cheesecake Factory. It's for sure one of my fave restaurants. I think I've only had one thing from there, but it's the most yummy thing ever. And, since I don't get to eat there very often, I order it every time instead of getting something I might not love and then not be able to go back for awhile. I do go daring and order different things for dessert. That's just me, livin on the wild side.
