Weekend Fun

My mother-in-law is staying with Gramma for a little over a week so I got to play with her some this past weekend. We went shopping and out to lunch at Red Robin. I was disappointed though because they don't have my favorite sandwich there anymore and that's the whole reason we went there :( It's the Sour Cream Ranch Chicken Burger in case you were wondering. After that I decided to get a haircut. It's shorter now. Maybe I'll post a picture after I make it pretty sometime.

Later that night, Garrett and I went to his coworker's barbecue. They made everyone their own steaks! Fancy, right. They also had baked potatoes, green salad, and beans. Of course they set up the Wii so everyone could play and then we had delicious ice cream. It was fun because I got to put faces to all the names Garrett tells me about once he gets home from work. And bless his heart, one coworker, Nate, has 4 kids under the age of 10 and the last 3 all have cystic fibrosis. That's gotta be rough. Anyway, the evening itself was DE-lightful.

Sunday we finally went to all three hours of the ward we are supposed to belong to! We were so proud of ourselves. We kept making the goal to do it but I didn't mind going home early usually because I get painfully hungry and I'm often kinda sick. The week before we went with Garrett's sister's, Stephanie's, family to all three hours of their ward, but we still wanted to go to our own so we could be active, contributing members again, haha. After church, Garrett's mom made lasagna for everyone and the Gabbitas' came over. We all visited and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.

Then to wrap up the evening, of course Garrett and Sterling watched some of the basketball game. And right before bed, Garrett and I watched some Star Wars. So fun...

All in all, it was a lovely weekend.

Oh yeah, here's my belly poochin progression. This is about 17 and half weeks along.
