The whole gang

I did it! Who would have thought?
Once graduation ended, we got down to business and really packed our apartment belongings up. We had been taking truckloads up to Garrett's parents' all week. It was great because things really fell into place as we were leaving (our contract sold at the last minute, Garrett's friends and parents helped us a ton, we finished way ahead of schedule, etc.) and it went a lot more smoothly than I was even hoping. After we transported all our stuff and packed up the cars, we drove down to Las Vegas for the night as a halfway point. We had reserved the hotel in advance and got a great deal on it, thinking it probably wasn't going to be that great, but once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was HUGE! They had a giant casino (not that that's unique) and a million restaurants and a big indoor/outdoor garden room with fake animals and a water show. It was cool. The next morning we drove the rest of the way down to Arizona and we were welcomed into the state with a nice speeding ticket, haha. We've made sure to go the speed limit a little more now.
Our last picture in our empty apartment before moving away...
Garrett at the indoor garden water show thing (the show isn't going on in this picture) and he has his donuts, of course, ha.
That's me pointing at one of the fake animals they had all around. I think this was a beaver.
Now we've been here for about 4 weeks and things are going well. Garrett is selling away all the pest control that he can and I'm interning my little heart out. I'm still a little sick but I think it's getting better. Also, last week we celebrated Garrett's 23rd birthday with a little swimming, eating, and Star Trekking. It was really fun. Another thing, Arizona is hot but not as bad as I was thinking. I think growing up in Florida helped prepare me for the summer here so I actually really like it. Anyway, the weeks are just flying by and it's really nice to be near much of his family here.
