My own little Controversy

So I finally converted. Ever since I first heard of Chacos, these indestructible sandals that you can do almost anything in, I've been against them. Everyone loves theirs so much and I could never get over how nerdy I thought they were, or the fact that, to me, it doesn't make sense to hike in sandals. Plus, to add to my distaste for them, I learned that they were $100. Who would pay $100 for these ugly things? Well, it turns out that I would. They've been growing on me, and Garrett now has two pairs so part of me just wanted to know what all the fuss was about. Anyway, I just bought them a couple days ago and as it has been snowing and being awful here in Provo, I haven't even gotten a chance to really wear them. But I have worn them around the house some. And they're alright. I think the more I wear them, the more comfortable they'll become, as with any shoe. Plus, I think these ones are cute. And if the weather ever warms up, Garrett and I could go hiking in our hardcore Chacos together. Overall, I'm happy I purchased them. Of course I still think they are nerdy, just now I guess I am too.

They are cute! You should wear them for a really long time out in the sun and get a wicked-sweet tan line! Haha...

Yay! I'm so happy you got the shoes you wanted so badly. I'm not sure I'm jumping on the bandwagon but I must say, at least you aren't trying to convince yourself crocs are cool! Yay for Chaco's!
